Blessed Ostara! Happy spring equinox! Happy Easter! 2023!

Flowers, bunny, birds, and crow celebrate Blessed Ostara and Happy Spring Equinox in image

Whatever you prefer to call the spring holiday and whatever you personally celebrate this month, we potatoes are here for it and we wish you an awesome holiday or holidays!

We do not really come up with an itinerary for Ostara, spring equinox or Easter mostly because we have found that there are just not enough movies that are appropriately themed for it!

We will be watching an oldie that we have not watched since we were children, today to review for this month! Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit!

Also! We did come up with a fun little drinking game for those that will be watching something themed for this holiday season. We are also very open to any suggestions for themed films for this month so please let us know in the comments if you are aware of any that we should watch!

UPDATE!

So we did go through the movies we have available to us more thoroughly and we were able to find a few that we did not think of previously and we watched them!

This years Easter Itinerary:

  1. Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit

  2. Miss Potter

  3. Zootopia

What do you think? We know we are missing a few but we are reviewing a few more this month so we did not include those, but still!

Ostara/Easter Drinking Game

Take a sip anytime:

1.     Anyone says “Easter”

2.     You see a rabbit on screen

3.     You see carrots on screen

4.     Anyone is dyeing eggs

5.     There is an Easter egg hunt

6.     There are colorful eggs on screen

7.     There is family drama of any kind

8.     There is candy onscreen

9.     There are Peeps marshmallows on screen

Please let us know if you are aware of any other films that may be appropriate for this time of year! What do you think? Do you like this drinking game? Are there rules missing? Is the game too intense? Let us know here in the comments and always remember to be safe and drink responsibly! (Drinks can be water, soda, anything nonalcoholic, etc. Please be safe, have fun and take care of you!)
